Colorful Nuuk (June - September)

Nuuk is the Capital of Greenland; within Nuuk is a fascinating combination of both the old and the new, a primary example of which being the architecture. Take a stroll through Nuuk and discover old wooden homes mixed with beautiful new buildings and a culture that is deeply connected with the surrounding nature. If you prefer the city life, but still crave an adventure, this tour is perfect for you. You will get to explore the city of Nuuk, the culture of the people who live there and experience the ice fjords, glaciers and a stunning boat excursion (maybe even see some whales along the way). Greenland Highlights (July - August)

While the previous tour explores more of west Greenland, this tour explores more of the east. For those feeling a bit more adventurous, two days of this trip are spent on boat tours, and the rest are spent on the move, exploring the main town of East Greenland (appr. 2,000 inhabinants) and the beautiful surroundings. Don’t let that intimidate you though, this tour is accessible to all, being of relatively low difficulty. Immerse yourself in the expansive sights of the glaciers and fjords, the soothing, calm water, the mesmerizing Valley of Flowers, and the unique Inuit culture that is far removed from the hustle and bustle of the main cities. Ice, Dogs and Northern Lights (February - April)

This trip will give you the highlights of winter Greenland; Experience the impressive landscapes from the perspective of a dog sled. Enjoy the fascinating in man and dog working together in nature. Make sure to look up; the northern lights might be dancing above you. Observe enormous ice sculptures close up when going on a boat excursion among the icebergs. And take a walk just outside of town and take in all the impression of the magnificent Ilulissat icefjord and you will understand why this has been chosen to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
